A webinar hosted today by the RSPCA looked into the potential to use artificial intelligence in the abattoir environment to improve animal welfare outcomes. Presenter Dr Dana Campbell outlined how recent research had explored the development of AI tools that have application for improving animal welfare during the lairage stage at processing plants.
